Focus on Geothermal XIV | 27 November 2020: Review IGC Invest Geothermal Online Meeting

Hello [simplenews-receiver-firstname] [simplenews-receiver-realname],

in the next Focus on Geothermal webinar of IGC.events in cooperation of ThinkGeoEnergy and Enerchange, there will be a review of last week's IGC Invest Geothermal Online Meeting. The chairwoman of the France session, Marit Brommer (IGA) will discuss with the chairmen of the Switzerland and Croatia sessions Torsten Rosenboom (WFW) and Jochen Schneider (Enerchange) about the actual geothermal development in these countries this Friday, November 27, 2020 at 14.00 (CET).

At the IGC Invest Geothermal Online Meeting on November 17, Nicole Lupi and Christian Minnig from the Swiss state authoritites presented the existing subsurface model of the country and the funding perspective for geothermal projects in Switzerland. Jean-Jacques Graff (AFPG), Caroline Guion (Engie Solutions) and Thomas Rabain (WFW) introduced the geothermal projects in France, Engie's Geomarne project and the regualtory framework. The probably youngest member in the European Geothermal Club, Croatia, was introduced by Marijan Krpan (Croatian Hydrocarbon Agency) and Dragutin Domitrovic (Calida Aqua) the developer of the Ciglena Project. This is the only power plant of the country, sofar, with 16.5 MW installed capacity. However, it shows the enormous potential of the country.

Marit, Torsten and Jochen will summarize in the next Focus on Geothermal the event and present the key findings of the last IGC Invest Geothermal Online Meeting. You can register free of charge to participate at the Focus on Geothermal webinar via the website of IGC.events.
